F*ck Cancer - Beat Cancer Off

Beat Cancer Off turns real scientific data into something impossible to ignore.
Created for Fuck Cancer, the project is built on a direct insight about prostate cancer prevention, and chooses not to soften the conversation. Instead, it embraces discomfort through dark humor, exaggeration, and a chaotic visual language that grabs attention from the very first frame.
Blending 2D, 3D, collage, and live-action, the film becomes an explosion of techniques and voices reflecting both the urgency and complexity of the topic.
More than informing, it provokes, using entertainment as a tool to break a taboo that still persists.
Beat Cancer Off was built as a large-scale collaborative effort, bringing together over 50 artists across a dynamic, decentralized pipeline. Directed by Dirty Work in collaboration with Jamute, the production was designed as a living system, capable of absorbing different approaches, rhythms, and techniques without losing cohesion. This structure allowed multiple streams to run simultaneously, keeping the project in constant motion.
That same logic carries into the design. The visual language is driven by contrast. 2D, 3D, collage, puppetry, and live-action collide within a raw, vibrant, and unpredictable aesthetic. Instead of aiming for uniformity, the project amplifies differences, using the friction between styles as a narrative engine. The result is a constantly shifting visual flow, where each technique adds a new layer, keeping the audience engaged from start to finish.
